Caring for the Greatest
Who is the greatest in the Kingdom? The downtrodden, the hurt, the ones in pain, the orphan, the widows, the widowers, the ones who hurt. These people know they need help. All of us need to realize we need help and that we must be 100% totally dependent on God.
The Keys of the Kingdom to Jesus’ Church
Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” And they said, “Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
Great Faith
The woman came and knelt before him. “Lord, help me!” she said.
He replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”
“Yes it is, Lord,” she said. “Even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.”
Then Jesus said to her, “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed at that moment. Matthew 15:25-28
Immediately
Immediately means right now. It refers to God’s action; God is always acting. And we are to respond to God immediately. We can only do that by keeping our eyes focused on Jesus.

W.W.J.D: What will Jesus Do (for us today)
The Kingdom of Heaven is Like…
The Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure. We’re the treasure; created in God’s image. Jesus finds us in the field and then buys the field so we can be His treasure. Jesus redeems us by His death on the cross from the power of sin, death, and the devil.
Already, and Not Yet
We’re already in the kingdom of God. He has come in the person of Jesus Christ to redeem and to forgive us and call us His own. And yet, not in the kingdom because we have to live in a sinful world.
The Secrets of God’s Kingdom
Why can 2 people hear the same message of the gospel and one will believe it and the other will reject it? The seed that is sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it. That’s the secret when the word of God comes and penetrates our life, it changes it. When anyone hears the word of the Kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart.
“Freedom”
The greatest freedom is found in Jesus Christ, our Lord, who has redeemed us and forgiven us and cleansed us and washed us and made us in His image. Because in the death of Jesus and his resurrection from the grave itself, we have been given the gift of freedom. Not only the gift of freedom, but to live in it. I’m free; you’re free too.
“Love Jesus”
“Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.” John 10:37 How do we live that out? Jesus says, “Love me because I have loved you and gave my life for you.” Put Jesus at the center of your life.
“Better Disciples”
What does it mean for us to be better disciples in this world? It means to endure. We must endure the world has Jesus endured the world. And we can endure because Christ was crucified, took our sin upon himself, and rose the third day. We need not fear anything in the world because Jesus said, “I am with you always to the very end of the age.”
Pray Earnestly
When he (Jesus) saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.
Following Jesus
Jesus says, “Come, follow Me.” Following Jesus requires active service, love, and self-sacrifice, rather than passive observation. Will you choose to obey and follow Jesus? Will you center your daily life on the teachings of Christ rather than simply believing in His name, focusing on the active, obedient, and transformative nature of authentic discipleship?
The Greatness of God’s Love to the World
On Trinity Sunday, we recognize that our God is Three in One: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Father sent the Son to die for our sins. The Son returned to Heaven and sent the Holy Spirit to empower all who believe on the Son.
Share Jesus’ Love
I give you a new command: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
Make Better Disciples
Lord Jesus Christ, by the Holy Spirit, shape us into faithful disciples who gladly hear Your Word and make the commitment to grow in our discipleship. Use us also to encourage and strengthen others, that Your Church may raise up true disciples who will disciple others.
Make More Disciples
…God our Savior… wants everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Make Disciples
Jesus said, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
Grace is God’s Promise
We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.
Grace for a Wretch
Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with my mind I myself am serving the law of God, but with my flesh, the law of sin.
