“SERVE THE LORD WITH GLADNESS”
Psalm 100:2
As members of the LWML we pledge:
In fervent gratitude for the Savior’s dying love and His blood-bought gift of redemption, we dedicate ourselves to Him with all that we are and have; and in obedience to His call for workers in the harvest fields, we pledge Him our willing service wherever and whenever He has need of us. We consecrate to our Savior our hands to work for Him, our feet to go on His errands, our voice to sing His
Our Pledge:
praises, our lips to proclaim His redeeming love, our silver and our gold to extend His Kingdom, our will to do His will, and every power of our life to the great task of brining the lost and the erring into eternal fellowship with Him. Amen.

Who are the Girls of Grace & What do they do?
Our goal is to be “workers in the harvest fields” for Jesus! Girls of Grace is the name of our Grace Lutheran Church women’s group, serving as a member of the national organization, LWML (Lutheran Women’s Missionary League). As our pledge states, we care for those in need in our congregation & community. Our motto is Serve the LORD with gladness! (Psalm 100:2). We hold a monthly meeting to plan missions & events, pray for women of the congregation, share a devotion & a meal, fellowship and so much more.
All ladies of Grace are welcome to join at any time.
Our “Hands to work for Him” & “Feet to go on His errands”
Since our beginning in 1995, the Girls of Grace have been organizers & planners. Here are a few examples:
Altar flowers & refreshment schedule, filling in any gaps
Spring Cleaning & Hanging of the Greens (Christmas decorating)
Holiday Flower Sales and arranging them in sanctuary (GoG only charges enough to cover costs, this is not a fundraiser)
Confirmation Banners: the Girls of Grace helps confirmands plan and create their banners
Advent & Lenten Meals: the Girls of Grace chooses the offering recipients & picks the menu, often helping with set up, serving and clean up
Coopersville Cares Sale: every August the Girls of Grace helps with set up, sorting, selling and clean up
Hat & Mitten Tree Collection to support our community
Baby Bottle Coin and Diaper Collections to support Positive Options
Souper Bowl of Care: providing an opportunity for everyone to donate cans of soup to support Coopersville Cares. Donations are collected in soup pots labeled for the Super Bowl opposing teams as a friendly competition
Our “Silver and our Gold”
Each month we choose a mission project(s) to support with our “silver and our gold”. Recipients have been our own members in need and local & even national/international missions. We have supported our members in need, local to international missions, Coopersville Cares, Kids Against Hunger, LWML Mites, Positive Options, Camp Concordia, Groundwork Guatemala, Samaritan’s Purse & more.
Girls of Grace holds regular FUNdraisers to support these missions such as:
